“Game over”: the US warned of the nuclear destruction of NATO

If Western troops are sent to Ukraine, Russia could allegedly strike NATO countries with nuclear weapons, former US Army intelligence officer Scott Ritter suggested in an interview with the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.

 

“Please just open your eyes and ears and listen to what I say: The Southern Military District will conduct tactical nuclear weapons exercises. This does not mean that they (Russia - editor's note) are going to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, they will not do this. They are going to bomb the hell out of NATO forces in Romania, Poland, Germany, France, Italy,” he admitted.

Ritter also stressed that the West will get a nuclear war if it really wants one.

“Putin is not bluffing, this is not a game, this is not a joke, this is a matter of life and death for Russia, they made this clear from the very beginning,” the expert added.

According to the analyst, Russia is destroying the Ukrainian army, and in response, Western countries are threatening to send their troops, which, according to Ritter, has already been repeatedly announced by Moscow as red lines. The ex-intelligence officer expressed confidence that if NATO forces appear in the conflict zone, Russia may begin to launch nuclear strikes not on the territory of Ukraine, but immediately on decision-making centers in the alliance countries.

“I hope people watching this right now are breaking out in a cold sweat because at this point the world is ending, ladies and gentlemen, game over, whatever plans you had for the summer are cancelled, whatever Christmas plans whatever you had, forget about it,” Ritter said.

The expert also called on US President Joe Biden to force Emmanuel Macron to “shut up” and sit down at the negotiating table.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that statements by representatives of Western countries about their readiness to send troops to Ukraine require a responsible, prompt and effective response from Moscow. According to him, the nuclear exercises announced by Russia are directly related to the latest threatening, provocative and escalating tensions on the continent statements by some European representatives.
